- User-Provided Content & URLs: Publicly accessible media URLs (video/audio files) and timestamp intervals submitted when interacting with KEEP Highlights in ChatGPT or our web application.
- Technical & Usage Telemetry: Anonymized metrics such as processing duration, media file format, compression ratio, timestamps, and error logs to maintain system performance and reliability.
- Authentication Information (when applicable): If you authenticate via Google OAuth or API keys, we store your name, email address, and unique user identifier.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your data strictly for the following purposes:
- To analyze audiovisual activity and identify requested highlight timestamps.
- To assemble and export selected media segments into condensed clips as directed by the user.
- To maintain, monitor, and improve the reliability and security of our API infrastructure.

3. Zero Model Training Policy (AI & Machine Learning)
We respect your creative and proprietary content:
- No AI Training: We do NOT use your uploaded media files, audio recordings, video content, transcripts, or ChatGPT interaction data to train, retrain, fine-tune, or improve any public or generative artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- Strict Ephemeral Processing: Media analysis and temporal clipping are performed strictly in ephemeral container memory to serve your immediate request.
4. Third-Party Sharing & No Sale of Data
We hold a strict stance on data sharing:
- No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information or media content to any advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.
- Service Providers: We may use trusted cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., Google Cloud Platform / Firebase) solely for hosting and securing our API endpoints under strict confidentiality obligations.
- OpenAI Integration: When using the plugin through ChatGPT, communication occurs between OpenAI servers and our secure API endpoint (

5. Data Retention & Deletion
- Media Streams: Ephemeral media streams processed during tool execution are deleted immediately upon completion of the request. No video or audio files are permanently archived.
- Operational Logs: Anonymized server access logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days strictly for security debugging and anti-abuse monitoring, after which they are automatically purged.
- Deletion Requests: You may request complete deletion of any account records or associated logs at any time by emailing support@skeepit.co.
6. Security Measures
We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your information:
- All data transmissions are encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.3 / HTTPS encryption.
- API access is protected with strict rate limiting, access controls, and firewall defenses.
